Final project photos

For the photo above i adjusted my camera to the room . i aimed to get sara in the mirror to show reflection of some sort. i tried to make angelic like and sort of contorted or demonized. in this i wanted to light in the window to flush through the curtains like that to represent the "white light."
This one took a lot of shots. it took a while to get the aperture right. i wish the sky wasnt completely whited out. I think rest of the shot is gorgeous though.
i wanted to do something with water and i though that this was a good shot. i know it doesnt really follow the rule of thirds but i think the picture is good anyways.
For this picture i really wanted sara to get in a good reflection and have her hair look like a lions mane. i wanted there to be alot of composition differences and alot of details and elements to the photo
in this picture i love how sara is calming sitting like nothing interesting is happening. the light in the backround i love. i also love were she is placed. all of these pictures took so many tries.
i love the different tones of black and white in the picture. for this picture it took a while to get the lighting just right.

Me and sara decided to change our outfits for these pictures at night because i thought it would make the pictures more interesting and diferent. I love this picture because it follows the rules of thirds beautifully. i used my flash for this because i couldnt get the lighting and the picture to not be blurry. but the focus in the picture is the mirror. it actually turned out creepy but i love it.
i love this picture but the only thing is the water is more in focus than the cup. that probably was my fault because i manually focused it.
in this picture i used the flash and just had sara jump like she was getting lifted up into air.

Look at Ozzie under the tree!

The big project

So we have a big project in the class due the 15th. I have no idea what artist I am going to be trying to imitate. The board was hidden behind another board so I didn't see the date and we only talked about it once! A lot if kids from a lot of classes new that this was a thing but didn't know what was going on. But anyways I don't like the idea of taking pictures like someone else. I want to take pictures In the style I want. I like to be more creative rather than going in between the lines. But hey that's the assignment. Oh and two more long days until break. hallelujah.

Post Assignment Natural Light Portrature

So this assignment was fun, but challenging like i expected. I took pictures of my friend lauren, and my boyfriend sam.  i think they came out well, but a little too flushed on the faces. i thought it was hard to make it "perfect". but from my point of view i think they are very good and i hope to print them out by the end of the year.

Pre assignment to Natural Light Portrature

This assignment we are supposed to capture natural light and the essence of the person. With showing all detail, while have light on the persons face with out fluching them out. it seems difficult to do but with photoshop it could be an easy fix. I like these types of assignments because they are a challenge, and i like challenging myself.
